In the context of Raid Atacama(A well known association planning desert challenge trips to their members every quarter) we are heading to Copiapó-Caldera and Bahía Inglesa, 850 Kms. from Santiago
Staying in the middle of Playa Las Machas, in a place known as Kitelodge(They also offer kitesurf activities), main objective: the place receives our 4 dogs, is next to a beautiful beach and just 5 minutes away from “Bahía”.
Already in the first hours of our stay, the dogs indulged themselves having a beach morning
Local dogs are the guardians of the place, so we also got some friendship fleas and ticks stories along the way.
The most important thing is that we achieved the >1000 runs barking (our new record)
Magnificent domes made of sand and clay are a must see here, our hosts are great and really flexible with our dogs. Besides that, you really think you are in a starwars scene.
We headed to the desert to meet with our friends from Raid Atacama (http://www.raidatacama.com) where we enjoyed the company of the friendly team lead by “Pato” Ríos.
